The purpose of the open door policy at MAPCO is to assure open communication, feedback and discussion regarding any matter of importance to an employee. Our policy means that any employee can talk to a supervisor and/or manager at any time, and in confidence.
In most cases, talking with one’s supervisor is the most effective way to deal with a problem or suggestion. However, an employee may discuss problems or suggestions with a higher level manager instead of, or in addition to, their supervisor. Usually, this would be a more senior level person in your area. Our dedicated Human Resources staff can assist in setting up these lines of communication.
