Questions concerning commercial flights and parking during the upcoming airshow: August 8-9, 2026 and practice day: Friday, August 7, 2026.
Here is what you need to know for your arrival:
Flight Schedule: We have built dedicated windows into the airshow schedule for commercial flights. The show ends by 4:00 PM, and if there are any delays, 5:00 PM. Airport operations will be fully normal by the time you arrive.
Airport Parking: All airshow parking is off-site via shuttle. Regular airport parking, including the garage, remains open as usual for travelers.

Roads & Traffic: Most airport roads will not close, except during the scheduled 3:20 PM performance of the Thunderbirds.
During that time, Airport Way south of the roundabout, and access to the smart phone lot, will be closed. They will reopen following the Thunderbirds performance.
Surrounding local roads (like Buell, Scottsville, or Paul) may have local closures or detours.
We highly recommend arriving a few minutes early to account for potential traffic.
